Finca El Matel

This original old stone house with its overgrown vine terrace is situated right in the heart of pristine nature, 15 minutes by foot or by car from El Pinar/Taibique. This is a relatively exposed climatic area. The view towards the ocean spans a fabulously beautiful landscape, no other house is in sight. 31,000 m² premises with wild figs and almond trees belong to the finca. On the ground floor is a bedroom with window seats, the bathroom, the rustic kitchen with large dining table and the beautiful glazed living area with an expansive view. Via a covered cistern, one reaches the romantic tower sleeping room and the second bathroom. The simple decoration, wooden beams on the ceiling, the terracotta floors and whitewashed walls, the old chests - all harmonise with the magic atmosphere of this unique location. At night the sky is full of sparkling stars. The electricity is supplied via solar energy and gas. The house is accessed via a sand road that ends 100 m below the house.
